Sometimes an object is hard to find. The label name may have been changed, or the object may be on a hidden tab. The Screen Designer search tool helps you locate it quickly.
Search for an object
Follow these steps to search for an object using the Screen Designer search tool.
Click the Search for Control icon on the Screen Designer toolbar to open the search box.
Enter the object name and click Search. You can enter partial names. Matching objects are highlighted with a yellow outline on the page.
To confirm an object's identity, right-click it and select Properties. The Object Name is shown on the DB Info tab.
đ¤ Note: Objects hidden behind larger objects, such as a multi-select list box, will not appear in the search. Drag the larger object aside until the smaller object is located.
