Objects are the elements displayed on a Core+ page. They are usually linked to data in the Core+ database, so they must reflect the data type. Common screen objects include labels, text fields, lookups, date and time fields, buttons, check boxes, multi-select boxes, and tabs.
Editable objects
The following editable objects are available, depending on the page you are viewing.

Label | LBL | A fixed text label, not data dependent. |
Text | TXT | A simple free-type text box linked to a database field. |
Lookups | GLF | Inserts a lookup selector. Click to open the lookup selector, and click to clear the field. |
Date | DTE | Inserts a date selector. Dates can be free-typed or selected using a calendar. |
Time | TIM | Inserts a time field. Times can be free-typed or set using the incrementor buttons. |

Multi-Select box | LMS | Inserts a multi-select box. Clicking Edit opens a pop-up multi-select list. |
Page Button | BTN | Inserts a button that performs an action when clicked. |
Check Box | CHK | Inserts a selectable check box. |
Search Box | CBED | Inserts a search field. |
Text Editor | UED | Inserts a text editor field. |
Drop Down List | DDL | Inserts a drop-down list. |
Grid | GRD | Inserts a grid. |
Image Container | IIC | Inserts an image placeholder. |
Range Filter | IRP | Inserts a range filter for searching between a given range. |
Date Range Control | DTER | Inserts a date range control for searching between a given range. One date field can be left blank to search with only the lower or upper value. |
Text Template Fields | TTF | Inserts a text template field where text can be entered, or predefined text selected via a lookup. |
Menu | MENU | Inserts a menu button. |

Non-editable objects
Non-editable objects are fixed elements that are part of the Core+ page structure. They cannot be modified through Screen Designer.

Base Page Button | Common to all pages and part of the base page functionality. |
Multimedia Buttons | Used to access multimedia documents. Access is controlled by Administration, Roles, Permissions. |
List Grid Row Buttons | Provides access to records linked to a row on a Core+ page. |
