Manage tabs Screen Designer

Steps to rename, hide, unhide, and reorder the tabs on a Core+ page.

Written by Erica

Many Core+ pages contain tabs that hold additional information. You can hide, unhide, rename, and reorder these tabs in Screen Designer. Set the tab order after you have finished designing the screen.

🤓 Note: To access screen design mode, right-click the page header and select Design Screen. You must have Screen Designer permissions to do this.

Rename a tab

Use these steps to give a tab a new name. This is useful when the default tab name does not reflect the content it holds.

  1. In screen design mode, right-click a tab and select Properties to open the Tab Control Properties dialog. This lists all available tabs for the page, including hidden ones.

  2. Select the tab in the list and enter the new name in the free text field.

  3. Click Rename, then click OK.

Hide or unhide a tab

Use these steps to hide a tab you do not need, or to make a hidden tab visible again. Hiding a tab also hides all objects associated with it.

  1. In screen design mode, right-click a tab and select Properties to open the Tab Control Properties dialog.

  2. Select the tab in the list.

    • To hide the tab, clear the Visible check box.

    • To unhide the tab, select the Visible check box.

  3. Click OK.
