Page properties let you set the tab key order, link records via custom controls, and override the default Save and Cancel behaviour for specific pages.
đ¤ Note: You must have Screen Designer permissions to access and change page properties. Changes affect all users on the current object set.
Open Page Properties
Select the Page Properties icon from the Screen Designer toolbar. The Page Properties dialog lists all objects, including those on other tabs and the page banner, across the Tab Orders, Custom Controls, and Settings tabs.
Set the tab key order
When entering data, users move between fields with the Tab key, or Shift+Tab to go back. Use the Tab Orders tab to set that order.
Select the required field and use the up and down arrows to position it.
Repeat for the other fields as required.
Click Close.
Click Save on the Screen Designer toolbar to commit the changes.
Set save and cancel behaviour
The Settings tab lets you override the system default Save and Cancel behaviour for a page. This tab is only visible when settings apply to the page you are designing.
Select the Save Behaviour from the drop-down list.
Select the Cancel Behaviour from the drop-down list.
đ¤ Note: If a field has a blank value, the configuration default behaviour is used.
Set custom controls
The Custom Controls tab lets you link records, for example, linking an Intervention to a Project record without a Session Attendance record.
đ¤ Note: Custom controls apply only to the Youth Activity module.
Select the Display Custom Project Field check box on the Custom Controls tab.
Click Close.
Click Save Changes on the Screen Designer toolbar.
Click the Add Object to Screen icon. The controls CustomLink_YsProjectRefCBED and CustomLink_YsProjectRefLBL are now available for selection and can be added to the page.
