In the Screen Designer, you can add objects to a page, move and resize them, and remove them. Removing an object doesn't delete any data.
Add an object
Click the Add Object to Screen icon on the Screen Designer toolbar. The Add controls to screen dialog is displayed, listing the objects available for the page.
Select the required objects. You can select a data object and its associated label at the same time using Ctrl+click or Shift+click.
Click Add.
Continue adding objects as required, then click Close.
The new object appears on the page, briefly highlighted with a yellow outline.
🤓 Tip: Click the Snap to Grid icon on the toolbar to add gridlines that help you align labels and fields.
Move and resize objects
Once displayed, objects can be moved into position, onto another tab, or onto the banner.
To move an object, hover the cursor over it until the cursor changes, then click and drag it to the required position.
To resize an object, hover over the lower right corner until the cursor changes, then click and drag to the required size.
To resize horizontally, hover over the left border until the cursor changes, then click and drag.
To resize vertically, hover over the right border until the cursor changes, then click and drag.
📌 Note: Not all objects can be resized.

Context menu
When an object is selected, right-click it to access the context menu:
Required Field: Sets the field as required. Users must complete it before saving a record on this page. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Read Only: Sets the field to read-only, so users can't edit it on this page.
Cancel: Closes the menu.
Remove an object
Click Remove Object from Screen on the Screen Designer toolbar. The Remove controls from screen dialog is displayed, listing the objects that can be removed.
Select the required objects. You can select a data object and its label together using Ctrl+click or Shift+click.
Click Remove.
Continue removing objects as required, then click Close.
