Erase Delete logs

Open and review the logs for every process run in the Erase Delete tool, including the date, reason, and audit trail.

Written by Erica

Every process you run in the Erase Delete tool is logged. The logs show the date each process was run and the reason that was entered.

View the logs

Open the logs to review the history of processes run in the Erase Delete tool.

  1. Click View Logs. The Erase Delete Logs dialog is displayed.

  2. Click View Log File to view the Erase Delete log file. This contains the name of the user, the number of records and Young Person references, and the date and time the process was run.

🤓 Tip: The log displays the date the process was run and the reason entered. Apply filters if required to narrow down the results displayed.

Audit log

Every time the Erase Delete process is run, an entry is added to the 'DT_AUDIT_ERASE_DELETE_LOG' table. This records the reason (if specified), the parameters the process was run with, and the log content.
