Core+ Erase Delete lets administrators bulk delete, restore, and permanently erase records in your Core+ databases. You load bookmark lists and then delete or restore the records in the list, and every process you run can be audited.
To open Erase Delete from the Admin Tools menu, the Erase Delete menu item must be added to your Role.
Erase Delete lets administrators bulk delete, restore, and permanently erase records in your Core+ databases. Load bookmark lists to delete or restore the records they contain, and every process you run is fully auditable.
The Erase Delete tool provides four processes:
Delete: Marks records as deleted in the Core+ database. Records soft deleted this way can be restored later if necessary.
Undelete: Restores records that have been marked as deleted. It cannot restore records that have been erased using Erase or Erase Deleted Only. Only records marked as deleted in the database can be restored.
Erase: Permanently removes records from the database so they cannot be recovered. Use this with caution, for example to meet the requirements of data protection. When you select Erase, a 'warning dialog' is displayed.
Erase Deleted Only: Finds all deleted records within your selected records and erases them from the database. Records that have not been soft deleted are ignored. When you select Erase Deleted Only, a 'warning dialog' is displayed.
⚠️ Warning: Once records have been erased, the process cannot be reversed. Use the Erase Delete functionality with caution.
