Run your selected process against the records loaded in the Erase Delete tool, including deletion, erasure, and data retention processing.

Written by Erica

Once you've selected your process, chosen the records you want to update, and applied the required selection criteria, process the records displayed in the grid.

📌 Note: The Process button is only enabled when a valid list with at least one valid Young Person has been loaded and a process has been selected.

Process the records

Run your selected process against the records loaded in the grid.

  1. Click Process.

  2. Do one of the following depending on your record source:

    • For records to be Deleted, Undeleted, Erased, or Erase Deleted Only from a bookmark, the Reason dialog is displayed. Enter the reason if required. This is displayed in the log files.

    • For records from an expired data retention rule, turn on Set the Data Removed flag to set the Data Removed flag against the Young Person record.

  3. Click OK.

  4. On the additional warning dialog, click OK to continue.

Depending on the size of the bookmark list, processing may take a considerable time. The process modifies not only Young Person records but all associated child records. Allow the Erase Delete tool to finish before taking any further action.

Monitor progress

Track the progress of your selected process while it runs. The progress bar is displayed while the selected process is running, and the number of records processed is displayed.
