The NCCIS Submission Tracker enables you to view submission data for each period, regenerate the MI, publish submissions, and generate the NCCIS XML file.
Select a submission month and year to populate the Summary Data tables with the corresponding data counts. The panel above the Summary Data lets you track when the MI was last run or an NCCIS submission was generated. The view defaults to 'All' but can be filtered by selecting the required Local Authority from the drop-down list. By default percentages are displayed; use the Percentages toggle to show raw data instead.
Regenerate the MI
Click Regenerate MI to generate the CCIS MI submission with the default Run Options applied. The status updates to Processing. Click the My Jobs icon on the Quick Links toolbar to view the progress.
To choose the Run Options, click the drop-down arrow on the Regenerate MI button:
Using the Multi Sheet toggle buttons, select the items to generate and view in the workbooks.
Using the radio buttons, select the Mode to run:
All — Generate the MI data for all selected sheets.
Single YP — Enter a Young Person (YP) ref into the free text field.
Bookmark — Click Load Bookmark to open the Load Bookmark dialog, where a bookmark can be selected and loaded.
After selecting the required Run Options, click Run.
Publish a submission
Published submissions display the Unpublish Submission button, allowing MI administrators to unpublish submissions.
Unpublished submissions display the Mark Submission as Published button. Submission data is stored directly in the database; once submitted and accepted, mark it as published to ensure the data is not changed. Custom submissions do not have the option to be marked as published.
View and generate
Click View MI Data to navigate to the Workbooks, which display the generated data for the selected period.
Click Generate NCCIS XML to view a summary of which LEAs the submission will include and a summary of records, then click Generate NCCIS XML again to produce the file.
