Examples of Unique Lookups

Alongside the standard lookups, there are unique lookups within Core+. This article provides guidance around creating these lookups and the additional fields to be completed.

LU_YP_Status_Indicators

The Young Person Status Indicator lookup table enables you to turn Status Indicators, which appear in the status bar in the YP record header, on or off. The displayed colours can be amended, and the display order changed.

  1. From the Core+ Administration menu, click Lookups Admin.

  2. Search for the YP Status Indicator Lookup Type.

  3. Click on the row to open the Lookup List.

  4. Change the display order of the Status Indicators using the Move Up and Move Down arrow icons on the corresponding row.

  5. Click Disable YP Status Indicator on the corresponding row to hide the indicator, the lookup row will turn grey, and the Status Indicator will be hidden from view.

  6. Click Enable YP Status Indicator on the corresponding row to expose the indicator.

  7. Click Edit on the corresponding row to open the Status indicator Admin page where the Status Indicator Description can be amended, the display order changed, and the indicator enabled or disabled if required.

  8. Click a Lookup row to open the Indicator Result Admin Page. The young person status results, including the Description, Indicator Symbol and Indicator Colour are listed.

  9. Click an Indicator row or the Edit icon to open the Indicator Result Details.

    • The Indicator Result field is a protected field and cannot be edited.

    • Enter the Indicator Symbol to be displayed

    • Enter the Hex Colour code that the Symbol is to be displayed in. Alternatively, click into the Colour field to display the Colour Picker.

    • Click on the outer circle to select the colour range then use the inner square to refine the colour.

  10. Enter the Description for the Indicator Result. The text is also used as the tooltip displayed when a user hovers over the YP Status Indicator.

  11. Click Save


U_YP_Activity_History Lookup

The YP Activity History Lookup table lists the Activity types for both the Young Person Activity History page and the YOT Activity History page.

  1. Search for the YP Activity History Lookup Type.

  2. Click on the row to open the Lookup List and display the LU_YP_Activity_History Lookup table.

    • How the columns are displayed on these pages is controlled using the Display Date drop-down list.
      Select from the following options:

      • None - No additional columns are displayed.

      • Created Date - The Created Date column is displayed.

      • Updated Date - The Updated Date column is displayed.

      • Created and Updated - Both the Created Date and Updated Date are displayed.


LU_ADDRESS_NOT_KNOWN Lookup

The Address Not Known lookup table enables you to add default address values that are used to populate address records when an address is unknown.

  1. Search for the Address Not Known Lookup Type.

  2. Click on the row to open the Lookup List.

  3. Click New on the page footer to add a new Address Not Known Lookup Value or click Edit on the corresponding row to amend an existing Lookup Value.

  4. Enter the Code, Description and address fields.

  5. Select the Manual LEA from the lookup selection.


LU_DESTINATION Lookup

The Destination table enables you to record a young person's Destination Lookups.

  1. Search for the Destination Lookup Type.

  2. Click on the row to open the Lookup List.

  3. Click the New icon on the page footer to add a new Destination Lookup Value or click the Edit icon on the corresponding row to amend an existing Lookup Value.

  4. Enter the Description.

  5. Select the Destination Type that the Destination record is linked to from the Lookup Selection.

  6. Select the Destination Group that the Destination record is linked to from the Lookup Selection.

    • If the required Lookup is not listed, clicking the New Lookup button on the Lookup Selection dialog footer enables you to create one.

  7. Click Edit to select a value or values from the Lookup multi-select to link the young person's Status to the Destination record.


LU_YOT_CONTACT_TYPE Lookup

The YOT Contact Types table enables you to create and categorize different types of Contact, for example, telephone calls and meetings.

  1. Search for the YOT Contact Lookup Type.

  2. Click on the row to open the Lookup List.

  3. Click New on the page footer to add a new YOT Contact Lookup Value or click Edit on the corresponding row to amend an existing Lookup Value.

  4. Enter the Description.

  5. Using the check boxes, categorize the YOT Contacts into the following types:

    • Key Event - Adds an additional filter to display only those contacts that have the Key Event check box selected against the Contact Type lookup record.

    • Enforcement - Adds an additional filter to display only those contacts that have the 'Enforcement' check box selected against the Contact Type lookup record.

    • Management Oversight – Adds an additional filter to display only those contacts that have the 'Management Oversight' check box selected against the contact type lookup record.
