You can hide a young person's address for data protection purposes.

The hide address functionality is added by the following:

  1. Open Administration.

  2. Click Lookup Admin.

  3. Search for the table LU_DATA_PROTECTION_TYPE.

  4. Select the Data Protection Type to use to hide the address.

  5. Select the Hide Address checkbox.

  6. Click Save.

For the functionality to work correctly, please be aware of the following:

  • There is a support-level configuration, DPIGNDATES - Data Protection Ignore Dates, that impacts the hide address functionality, and will check if the data protection records has dates.

  • If you've enabled this configuration, the hide address functionality will work regardless of the dates. The address will be removed from the YP Basic Details section.

  • If you've disables this configuration, the start and end dates on the data protection record must be populates for the address to be removed from the YP Basic Details section.

If you require the configuration to be updated, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
