Send an Assessment Update in AssetPlus

This article explains how to send an assessment update in AssetPlus.

Assessment Updates can only be sent as part of an existing/active Caretaking Arrangement.


There are two processes to enable the option to send an Assessment Update via a Caretaking Arrangement:

Process 1: This automatically triggers a Full Data Transfer

  1. Go to your open YOT Case, then open the Caretaking Arrangements menu.

  2. Select New Caretaking Arrangement, and then select Via Connectivity from the options.

  3. Complete the mandatory fields, e.g. I would like to send a:, To the Destination System...

  4. Tick the Is this part of a Caretaking Arrangement? box, which will then automatically tick the Is this a new Caretaking Arrangement? box.

  5. Enter a value into the Start Date field.

  6. Select the Save button.

  7. This will send a Full Data Transfer, but if you now go back to the Connectivity Transfers menu and select New Connectivity Transfer, the option of Assessment Update will now be available under the I would like to send a: field.


Process 2: Suppress an automatic Full Data Transfer

  1. Go to your open YOT Case, then open the Caretaking Arrangements menu.

  2. Select New Caretaking Arrangement, and then select Offline from the options.

  3. Complete the mandatory fields, e.g. Start Date, Originating YOT...

  4. Select the Save button.

  5. If you now go back to the Connectivity Transfers menu and select New Connectivity Transfer, the option of Assessment Update will now be available under the I would like to send a: field.
