Open DBView and view the database tables

How to open DBView and move between the database tables and their links.

Written by Erica

You can open DBView from the Admin Tools menu to view the database tables and move between them and their links.

Open DBView

  • Select DBView from the Admin Tools menu.

The DBView page is displayed, where you can view the list of tables within the Core+ Web Application, shown in alphabetical order in the left-hand pane.

You can refine the list of tables:

  • Select the Include Empty toggle to filter out or include empty tables. By default, empty tables are excluded.

  • Use the Filter field to search for a specific table. For example, entering BENEFIT returns all tables that contain the word BENEFIT.

Database Navigation window

You can open a separate Database Navigation window to move between a table and its links.

  • With a table selected, click Navigation to open the table links for viewing in a new Database Navigation window.

  • Click Back and Forward to navigate through the tables.

  • Click Home to return to the Database Navigation start page.

  • Click Go To Table to open the selected table in the Data tab. See the View and filter table data on the Data tab article.

  • Click Close to return to the DBView page.

  • Click a table in the Links To pane to navigate to that table.
