The LCCIS Index Compare tool allows you to compare young person records in your local Core+ system with records held in the external LCCIS index. You can also copy relevant data from matched records directly into your system to keep information accurate and up to date.

Accessing the Tool

  1. Open the young person’s record in Core+.

  2. Select CCIS Index from the young person menu.

You’ll see matched remote records displayed alongside the local record.

Filtering Results

Use filters to narrow down the results and focus on relevant records:

  • Exclude unknown destinations
Hide records where the destination is marked as unknown.

  • Destination Created Date
Show records created on or after a selected date.

  • Destination Start Date
Show records that started on or after a selected date.

You can use filters individually or combine them. If no filters are applied, all matched records will display.

Copying Data from a Remote Record

Select a matched remote record to enable available copy options.

Important:

  • Copy buttons are only active if the remote record belongs to a different provider.

  • If it’s your own provider, the options will be disabled with an explanation.

Saving and Resuming Progress

When working with large bookmark lists, your progress is automatically saved:

  • Each processed record is tracked

  • You can resume where you left off if your session ends

  • Completed and remaining records are clearly marked

  • Progress is saved per bookmark list

Switching Back to the Original View

You can switch between:

  • The new LCCIS Index Compare screen

  • The original grid-based view

To change this, ask your administrator to update:
