Core+ uses data given to us by the Youth Justice Board (YJB) and taken directly from the Police National Legal Database (PNLD). This means that offence codes found within Core+ will only be changed if the YJB have given us new information listing such offences.
β
In the case that there is an offence/offence code that does not appear within Core+, as a rule of thumb we suggest contacting the YJB directly - they can give you suggestions for which offences within the most recent PNLD list you should use for the offence. An alternative that you can use would be e.g. Yap_Offence_Code QQ00001 Arson - Other (5) and the other similar offence codes beginning with QQ, and you can update these offences later down the line once the YJB confirm a new PNLD list.
β
Core+ is regularly updated with the most recent PNLD list of offences, so if there is a new offence that has not yet been added to Core+, this will be updated after the YJB provide us with a new list.
