Notifications for an incoming AssetPlus transfer

Who receives an internal message when an AssetPlus transfer arrives, and when the notification appears.

Written by Erica

When an AssetPlus transfer arrives, the system sends an internal message to let the relevant users know. You'll receive this notification either at the point the transfer is processed or the next time you log in, depending on your role and whether the transfer matches an existing case.

There are two ways you can receive an internal message about an incoming transfer.

When the transfer is processed

When a transfer arrives and is processed by the system, who receives the internal message depends on whether it matches an existing case:

  • If the transfer matches an existing case, the owner and proxy of the most recently completed assessment stage for that case are sent an internal message automatically.

  • If no matching case is found, all users in roles set up as AssetPlus managers receive the message instead.

In both cases, the message includes a direct link, either to the transfer request or to the connectivity tracker.

When you next log in

If there are pending AssetPlus transfers when you log in, a notification is added at that point. This means that even if you missed the message sent in real time, you'll still see the notification the next time you log in.

Who receives a notification

You'll receive a notification if you are:

  • The case owner or proxy on the most recent assessment stage of a matched case.

  • A member of an AssetPlus manager role, if no case match is found.

  • Any user with pending transfers when you log in.

If you don't fall into any of these categories, you won't receive a notification.
