Core+ Data Management lets you import and update Young Person (YP) records in a Core+ database while respecting relational integrity and validity requirements. The Young Person Import application imports data from CSV (Comma Separated Values), XLS, or XLSX files into a Core+ database, provided the data is valid and correctly formatted.
⚠️Important: The Data Management menu item under Admin Tools must be added to the applicable roles. Only users with the correct permissions can open the Web Application.
Before you start
You will need a valid import data file in CSV, XLS (Microsoft Excel 97-2003), or XLSX format.
Import file guidelines
Follow these guidelines to ensure your import file is structured correctly before you begin.
Ensure the file contains the required fields.
If the field names match the database fields specified in Output Options and Matching, you can use the Auto-map functionality. Auto-map ignores any differences in casing and punctuation.
Open Data Management
From the main menu, select Admin Tools, then Data Management. The Data Management page is displayed with the Young Person Import tool in focus.
