Marking a XML Submission Live

In this article, we explain how you can mark your XML Submission as Live.

  1. Once the Test Submission is uploaded, an email is received to inform the LA (Local Authority) that the Test NCCIS (National Client Caseload Information System) workbook is ready to download from the NCCIS portal, and you can then check your figures.

  2. If the LA is happy with the figures and there are no errors, then press the Set Live button.

  3. If the Set Live button is greyed out, refresh the NCCIS portal screen so it becomes active. Pressing this button will save the data to the NCCIS database to allow NCCIS/DfE (Department for Education) to report on it in the monthly LA table.
