You can merge two YOT cases that are attached to the same young person using the youth justice merge functionality.

โš ๏ธWarning: This merge should take place after the YP merge.

To do this, you need to ensure that the Youth Justice Merge menu item is enabled on the role you intend to use it for. To do this:

  1. Navigate to Administration.

  2. Click Roles.

  3. Select the required role.

  4. Click the Menu tab.

  5. Find Administration on the left panel and move it to the right.

  6. Click Save.

If the Youth Justice Merge is not immediately available in the administration menu, you have to enable this:

  1. Click Administration.

  2. Click Menu Item.

  3. Enable Youth Justice Merge.

Once in the youth justice merge screen, you need to provide a YP Ref. This will add the two YOT cases associated with this YP Ref into the grid. You then need to process the cases:

  1. Select which record is the master record.

  2. Check that the data in the grid is flagged correctly.

  3. Click Merge Records.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: AssetPlus Stages and Transfers wonโ€™t be merged for audit purposes.
